JIOSECURE - CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

  1. General:

    1. Jio Things Limited, having its registered address at 101, Saffron, Near Centre Point, Panchwati 5 Rasta, Ambavadi, Ahmedabad, Gujarat - 380006 ("Company", "we", "us" or "our") is inter alia facilitates the sale of JioSecure devices, its components and accessories ("Product(s)") and avail subscription services ("Services") through the website https://www.smartmonitoring.jio.com/service/login ('Website') or through a mobile application ("App") and the end consumer who purchase the Product(s) and avail the Service(s) from Company by using the Website and/or App ("User" or "Users" or "you" or "your").

    2. We aim to provide the best customer experience to our Users beginning from placing an order to initiating a refund for cancellation.

    3. This Cancellation and Refund policy ("Policy"), together with the terms sets out our procedures and policies in accepting Product cancellation and refund thereof.

  2. Applicability of Policy

    1. By agreeing to use and/or initiating a request for purchase of Product(s) and availing of the Service(s) from the Company, you agree to be bound by the terms contained in this Policy without modification. If you do not agree to the terms contained in this Policy, you are advised not to transact with the Company.

    2. Please note that we may from time to time change the terms of the Policy that govern your cancellation and refund of an order for Products. Every time you wish to use and/or avail the Company Product(s), please check the Policy to ensure you understand the terms and conditions that apply at that time.

  3. Terms for Cancellation of Product(s)

    1. You can cancel the orders within 1 day from date of dispatched of the Product by the Company. Orders cannot be cancelled unless the User provides the satisfactory documentary evidence to show the ordered Product is Dead on Arrival (DoA) and/or Product having manufacturing defect only. You can track your order under 'My Order' section of your account or via link send to your email id.

    2. On receipt of the cancellation request, we will attempt to cancel the order/shipments as long as it is not "Out for Delivery". You will receive the confirmation (via email/SMS) as soon as the cancellation is accepted. The amount refundable towards the partial/full order will be refunded to you within 15 (fifteen) business days from the date of acceptance of cancellation request. The amount shall be refunded to you through the same mode of payment used by you (except in case the payment was made by cash, in such situation it will be credited to your bank account) for the purchase. The refunds shall be subject to our discretion, applicable policies and charges of the User's bank/ financial institution.

  4. Refund

    1. At the time of raising a request for cancelling the Product, you may seek refund only in the event the payment has been received by us for the Product.

    2. Please be informed that when you opt to cancel the Product, upon our verification and assessment of the Product and the documents relating thereto, the refund amount for such Product which are eligible for refund as per the terms of this Policy, will be processed only when the conditions as may be stipulated by us are fulfilled. For the sake of abundant clarity, it is clarified that we shall not make any refund in respect of a Product that is deemed ineligible for a refund based on our verification and assessment. The refund amount will be credited to the original payment mode opted by you (except in case the payment was made by cash, in such situation it will be credited to your bank account). You acknowledge that after initiation of refund, it may take additional time for your refund to reflect in your account which is subject to your financial institution or payment solution provider terms and conditions.

    3. We do not make any cash refunds. The amount will be refunded to you within 15 (fifteen) business days into the original mode of payment chosen by you. Sometimes banks or financial intermediaries take a longer time to process the refund request. However, if the refund does not happen by the date advised, you may contact us, and we will gladly help you.

    4. Refund to be made to the User shall not include any amount paid towards shipping charges or any other such charges applicable from time to time.

    5. The User is mandatorily required to submit a copy of his/her bank account details (such as Cancelled Cheque, Bank Passbook) along with photo ID proof (such as PAN card, Aadhar card). All the documents submitted should be in the same name as the Billing name used while placing the order. For cases where there's a mismatch in name, Company reserves the right to refuse the user's refund to a bank account.

    6. If for any reason the refund to the original mode of payment fails at our payment gateway, then we will reach out to you within 15 (fifteen) business days at once to share alternate account details to process a manual refund. Thereafter, no other attempts and exceptions will be made for refunds to a different card or bank account.
